Trade Thoughts & Prayers for Protective ACTION

      Nothing brings our faux Christians faster than a tragedy.  Within 10 of one another, there have been TWO fatal mass shootings within the US and the [overwhelming] response is thoughts and prayers.  It always baffles me how people think saying this brings any comfort or fixes the underlying issue that is transforming public spaces into shooting ranges.  None of them actually pray, they merely follow the shallow sentiment with a barrage of excuses in favor of forgoing comprehensive gun reform.

     It is far more important that they continue to "protect the 2nd amendment" and politicians' ability to profit for the National Rifle Association (NRA).  Within days of a Texas elementary school transforming into a horrifically bloody scene, top politicians of the state will be speaking at an NRA conference.  The 2nd amendment affords for the right to a REGULATED MILITIA, not an abundance of trigger happy, murder fantasy riddled individuals wanting to cosplay war with anyone they deem "woke."  

   But ssssssuuuuuuurrrrrreeeeee, let's continue to explain away the hunting & murdering of marginalized people with "underdeveloped brain" theories.  Let us continue to blame mental health, video games, urban music, and social media when children and the elderly are forcibly transcended onto their ancestors.  That is far better than regulating firearms within a country known to house a numerous amount of volatile individuals...right?

     We watch day after day as performative Christians implore us to "save the children" as well as tell us how we are doomed to hell if we refuse their God.  We also watch as they support politicians and policies that do nothing but HARM children once they exit the womb.  We watch them degrade parents for having children within this capitalistic wasteland riddled with dwindling resources.  It's like they say, "there is no hate like Christian love."  

     Wouldn't one think that such religiously sound folk would be on the front lines screaming for guns to be properly regulated so that CHILDREN would be safe?  Why would a religion based on the belief that God will protect them need to fight so hard for WEAPONS?  I thought they wouldn't prosper against them...

     Instead, we get gaslit and excused into the ground for guns to be more easily accessible than healthcare.  Especially if the [military grade] firearm is in the hands of a white supremacist, we are told to believe that his/her ideologies are individualized and the product of mental health issues.  I guess every white person from 1619 to today has severe mental health issues due to the sustainability of their system of racism.  No? They don't all share an incurable, untreatable mental health condition? Then neither do these shooters that are NOT lone wolves.  These menaces to society consistently belong to like-minded chatrooms, post their thoughts online to fellow supremacists, and some stream to captivated audiences that live vicariously through them [in that moment].   

      When will this [self-proclaimed] greatest nation become great and STOP allowing its younger generations to be annihilated?  When will accountability [finally] become the 'norm' for this Hades replica of a land?  The US has become FAR too comfortable excusing white people in possession of guns.  Whether an officer of the law, a white-passing minority, or an Anglo citizen, excuses following thoughts and prayers is the plan of action over safety regulations.  

     If you are fearful of leaving your home, sending your children to school, resting in your bed, changing a flat tire, purchasing groceries, and more...ask yourself why are your neighbors fighting to allow your fear to remain? Before any of you attempt to combat me with the "good guys with guns" argument...there have been good guys with guns in some of these instances.  Do you know what happened to them? They never made it back home or they only protected themselves and their children, not the sum of those in danger.  

    How is anyone supposed to pursue happiness, when it's plausible that we may not even be permitted to pursue a full life?
