Unless you have [purposefully] decided to reside under a rock, you are fervently aware of the current Jan. 6 hearings. Today, what most have speculated was confirmed. Trump was fully aware of the insurrection plot/plans, he wanted to be at the Capitol to view it firsthand, he's an incessant MAN-BABY. 45 had gotten so smitten with profitability and cult leadership that he threw a terrible two's level tantrum over the election. He admitted that it would be safe for him to be at the Capitol (with deactivated/removed metal detectors) because "they aren't here to hurt me."
His childhood desire for love, attention, and the approval of his father caused him to become willing to sacrifice the LIFE of his own VP (Mike Pence). On January 6, 2021, Trump was no more than a playground bully wanting the shiny toy of the new kid & willing to get it by any means necessary. The Presidency was his one shining moment of [personal] glory that came attached to an unwavering cult that was willing to risk life and freedom to get him the toy he so desired.
It was testified that Trump attempted to overtake his driver (a TRAINED Secret Service agent) in order to [attempt to] force him to drive to the Captial and NOT the White House. Yes....the [then] POTUS engaged in an altercation with his security detail because he wanted front row seats to his plethora of marks raiding a federal building in his honor.
We also got confirmation that Boss-Baby Don is prone to literal tantrums. Throwing dishes at walls and more when he isn't permitted to have his way. Yes...the self-proclaimed genius has epic meltdowns when he can't outwit people and intimidate them into breaking the law for him.
Most of us have witnessed the cyber tantrums from 45, but they appear to be a [mere] drop in the bucket in comparison to those in real life. This [then] 71-year-old was presenting the composure of a hangry infant as he faced the reality of his election loss. I am left to wonder what level his in-person fits are at this moment as the proverbial curtain is being drawn back in his character. This is occurring simultaneously with the overturning of Roe v Wade which he campaigned about and spoke in often but never expected to happen. For the boss-baby, this was to be an elongated talking point, not a measure of hurting the GOP. He, himself, has been noted as admitting that this ruling was a huge misstep for the party...and now he is being exposed as a narcissistic child.
I will credit him with one thing...he involved so many people in his crazed coup attempt that an entire network is refusing to cover the hearings and his thousands of [civillain] coconspirators are refusing to watch and become knowledgeable of the truth.
