The American Narrative: Blame Melanin

     Right on cue, the US is working to alter statistics...this time the target of the change is mass shootings.  Are you shocked? Are you really? You shouldn't be.  Historically, the US has altered statistics so that Black & Brown residents appear to be what goes bump in the night, while the complexion for protection [progressively] possesses a mortal threat.  Think about it...we are constantly told to keep an eye on those of us that are melanated while being picked off like a duck hunt extra via a WHITE, cis-gendered, heterosexual, protestant male.  

     Still NOT convinced that this has occurred historically? Well...let us take a stroll down memory lane.  Do you recall when little white girls were getting knocked up quicker than tictacs were being produced and consumed? They were being sent away to relatives in the north/south, or their children were presented to society as their parents' "late-in-life" children.  Why? To make it look like white girls were pure, untouched, holy, and not chasing after boys for pleasure.  Even today, out-of-wedlock birth stats are used as racist, white supremacist talking points to prove the "superiority" of the white race within the US.  

     Need another instance? Look at the crime rate stats that are far too often tossed about like a volleyball at a summer cookout.  Have you ever noticed that their focus is on ARRESTS, not convictions, and are not [truly] adjusted for overturned convictions or judicial corruption [when uncovered]?  Why? Because it ensures that white people can reside in the comfort of believing that their brothers, fathers, sons & cousins aren't as violent and deadly as they truly are.  

    Now, presently, as it can no longer be overlooked, it is being proposed that drive-by shootings, etc. be added to the statistical calculations of mass shootings.  This would bury the ever-present FACT that WHITE MEN are domestic terrorists and reign supreme in eliminating portions of the population for sport.  They know that we have never and are NOT currently buying the narrative of "mental health issues" that they are selling each time Kyle & Richard Jr. live out their murderous fantasies in public spaces.  

   Don't believe me? Look at the rhetoric that is already being birthed behind the last crop of mass shootings. It started with the "root cause" being rap music, video games & access to the internet.  Now, it's Black people, Chicago & St. Louis.  You know...it's now the fault of drive-by shootings (although no specific instances are noted, EVER).  Isn't it amazing the talent that [certain] white people go through in order to disguise the ill doings of their own?

      Even at the height of the Red Summer (1919), WE [the melanated delegation] were denoted as aggressive, violent people while being targeted, hunted, displaced, beaten, and murdered.  Currently, white supremacists are recruiting, indoctrinating, and funding their [adolescent] "martyrs" at alarming rates as a measure of carrying out the race war that they salivate over consistently.  Their camouflage is LYING to the masses about the nature and history of Black & Brown residents.  

    Lady Liberty may ask to be given the masses of ALL ethnicities and races, but the "patriots" are screaming only for the protection & procreation of Alabaster Animaniacs.  Replacement Theory has taken over the Affirmative Action argument as well as the trope of immigrants invading the land in order to take over [ever citizen's] jobs.  Everywhere you turn there is a new blame game to take accountability and responsibility off of the shoulders of those creating the problems, havoc, chaos, and destruction.  

     This is why it is IMPERATIVE to speak up and out regarding the whitewashing of history and the massive amounts of disinformation that swarm every avenue of media.  It has NEVER been beneficial to us HISTORICALLY.  Allowing excuses to be made and faux remedies for faux causes is NOT going to propel this society into anything other than extinction.
