Roe v. Wade: The Affect on [Straight] Men
Hey men, did you think that the overturning of Roe v. Wade would leave you unaffected? Did you believe that you would be removed from the human incubator project? How juvenile and daft of you to think that there would be no repercussions for deciding that BEFORE BIRTH a clump of cells was a HUMAN BABY. Now there is [potential] legislation floating around that would allow child support to begin at...you guessed it...CONCEPTION.
There are too many of you that enjoy arguing that women who undergo the MEDICAL PROCEDURE of abortion of murderers. Also, there is far too much of an overlap of you "gentlemen" that contend that daddy issues are ramped in women and that we "allow" for too many fatherless babies to be born. Therefore, legislators are attempting to ensure that the children you so vehemently wanted to force women to birth will have proper (or as near as possible) financial assistance for their survival.
One state within the nation is already moving to make it illegal for divorce to occur in the event that one spouse is pregnant. Look at the faux god-fearing nation ensuring that a child has a two-parent home; regardless of the state of that home. Keep in mind, that this child could be the product of any "situation", but it will be your responsibility and the glue that holds the household together. Now, if you do not reside in that particular portion of the US, no worries, everywhere seem to be hiring making it easier for you to begin those child support payments.
I mean...without the seed planted within the egg, there would be no "baby"...so let's FINALLY even out the realm of parenthood. If we are going to REMOVE all choice and regard for a uterus-bearing person's life...let us also FORCE seed spreaders to step up and ensure thriving new residents. Sitting back thinking that controlling the bodies of others seemed like much a "boss move" until you start breaking down just how babies are conceived and sustained.
Since you LOVE to scream from the mountain tops that this is a man's world and that you are sooooooooo superior to us...take care of the "baby" that magically appears within us from the time it arrives until it [or you] returns to your sky daddy.
This is a prime example that NO ill-gotten plans go without affecting EVERYONE, not merely the intended target/s. You took us to this slippery slope, therefore, not one of us wants to hear a murmur as you slide down it as well. Pull up those bootstraps and be the men that your grandfathers (that you constantly remind us of) were. Time to cease with requesting 50/50 on everything because the law seems to be ready to tell you that since you want us barefoot and preggers, you better be hard-knuckled and working yourself into the grave.
All I have left to say is...I hope you choose "high value" birthing persons to force into parenthood and not some drifting Karen that can't wait to find ways to semi-annually increase their child-based stake in your finances.😁
