U.S.: When Will You Realize the Power that You Yield?

      It has always boggled my mind how many residents of the US proclaim to live within the "greatest nation", yet are "afraid" to stand up to those they voted in to represent them.  There is always a plethora of excuses ranging from "voting doesn't work" to "they don't listen to us anyway".  Let us FINALLY break down this "boring doesn't work", especially in reference to Black people.  

IF VOTING DOESN'T WORK, WHY IS THE GOP ALWAYS WORKING OVERTIME TO SUPPRESS YOUR VOTE?!

     Riddle me this, Batman, why do you think so many work hard to either pander to you, convince you that one party is trying to re-enslave you, or merely attempt to suppress your vote by any means possible? your votes are the kryptonite of conservatives, racists, and career politicians that utilize public office as their ultimate "get rich quick" opportunities.  The greatest fear of those seeking power and never representation is the oppressed demographics, FORCING them to do their jobs and/or voting them into cliff notes of history.

     Now let us address the commonly utilized, "they don't listen to us anyway".  They do not because you do not enforce them doing the jobs that YOU AFFORDED THEM.  Use the same energy you have for customer service agents, educators, restaurant workers, retail employees, and marginalized people simply existing in places you feel they shouldn't.  If you can DEMAND that people that you did NOT employ nor do you pay their wages do their jobs in a manner that is acceptable to you...

WHY CAN'T YOU DEMAND THAT OF THOSE YOU ELECTED TO REPRESENT YOU?!

     You [jokingly] refer to the French as "weak" and "constantly fleeing from conflict", but they [consistently] prove that they will do whatever it takes to secure and protect their rights.  They undoubtedly ensure that their ELECTED OFFICIALS represent their BEST INTERESTS.  Yet the good ol' patriots that are always screaming about another Civil War and "don't take my rights" seem to be the most afraid of politicians.  

     So once again...my question is...WHEN WILL YOU FINALLY STAND UP? Roe v Wade came to your front door knocking and all you did was cosplay and demand the labor of BIPOC women online.  Even when the issues affect you, you still find a way to excuse it or minimize effort to change it.  yet, let a BIPOC person be yet again murdered by the hands of racists...you are fighting toof and nail to defend the murderer.

     When will you finally utilize your power? When will you STOP allowing 1% of the US population to tell you how to feel, think, vote, live?  When will you decide to at least save yourselves?.
