Why MAGA "Mourns" Ashli Babbit and NOT Rosanne Boyland

     

Rosanne Boyland is a name that MOST US residents are not familiar with.  She ALSO lost her life on  Jan.6; but she wasn't trying to breach the inner chambers, therefore the MAGA crowd can't exploit her death for their feined "cause".  Rosanne was initially thought to have died from being trampled by her fellow traitors, but she perished due to an accidental amphetamine overdose.  Is it becoming more clear why that MAGA "movement" has decided to utilize Ashli Babbitt as its poster child and erase Rosanne from its scroll? 

     It's a tale as old as the US itself.  Optics...optics...optics.  Make the martyr of your cause the one that can appear the most "squeaky clean" and pretend that all others never existed in order to gain support and sympathy for a treacherous cause.  Although not void of a plagued past, Ashli Babbit had the "All-American" aesthetic.  Babbitt was a staunch Trump supporter, former military, a woman, and has a mother that upholds the tenants of the racial hierarchy that fuels the US.  She is the ideal figurehead for a flawed and chaotic movement.  

      Rosanne was radicalized, although she did NOT vote in the 2020 election.  She would often bombard her family and friends with pro-Trump, QAnon articles and theories leading up to her joining a friend en route to Washington DC for the day that will forever live on in infamy.  

     Do keep in mind that Rosanne's death was NOT the only one that was [vastly] ignored by the MAGA movement on Jan 6.  There were a total of four, NOT including the Capital officers that left behind families.  The All Lives Matter/Back the Blue/Pro-Life crowd showed just how little they valued any life that was NOT that of their "Golden Goose", Donald J. Trump.  This fervently showed as they trampled their own, assaulted Capital police officers, called for the hanging of [then] VP Pence, and desecrated the Capital itself.  

     They enjoy the fact that Micki Witthoeft (the mother of Babbitt) willingly defends the actions of her child while furthering the reach of the "movement's" talking points.  She is increasing their cult's exposure to the young, [newly fearful] mothers and those that are slowly trickling into the realms of QAnon and Truth Social.  

     All of this is taking place while the family of Boyland continues to search for answers. For reasons.  For closure.  They cannot fathom why a woman that did NOT vote in the last Presidential election, nor was she known to be political would become so easily and deeply radicalized.  Her sacrifice for a politician's LIE has left her departed from her family and void from the oral history of the day as Babbitt is hailed as heroic and in need of justice.

     If Boyland would've survived the barricade breach, even if hauled away to jail...the top tiers of the insurrection would be screaming their support for her.  Figures such as Marjorie Taylor Greene would proudly proclaim that she is a patriot and that the justice system was infringing upon her rights.  Leaders of the day would garner donations online and stand behind her family as she would tell of how she was protecting the "common man" from a corrupt, election-stealing government.  Yet, sadly, she did not survive and therefore she is not a string on the fiddle that is the martyrdom of Ashli Babbitt.
