When Will the Goalpost Become Stationary

       When it comes to nationalism within the US, the goalpost continues to move as if it were a river flowing through the land.  When will it become stationary? When will the masses say "enough is enough"? I ask because we have the power and ability to cease its movement at any given time...YET WE DO NOT.  We will sit back and poke fun at how no tale keeps its details and no reasonings remain consistent.  Problematic issues within this country continue to receive alterations to their origin stories.

     One moment, there is no racism in this cesspool of a country, then the narrative is that straight, white, Christian men are the most oppressed at this time and white people are receiving high levels of racism.  Make it make sense!!!!!! First, the vaccine was a "bad jab" and rolled out too quickly, then it should be credited to Trump.  The narratives change faster than an exotic dancer at a popular gentlemen's club.  

     We see it and watch as those close to us fall prey to any variant cover stories that arise.  

     Most recently, conservatives shouted as often as they found an opportunity that "abortion is murder" to scrub their websites of any reference to the MEDICAL PROCEDURE.  They have also taken up DEFENDING the abortions paid for (in full) via their (latest) token, Herschel Walker.  We ALL sat back and watched as the GOP urged the DOJ & the FBI to do the bidding of FAUXTUS 45 for [many of] them to tuck tail and now call for the "defunding of the FBI".  NOW, the DOJ & the FBI are partisan goons that are on a (political) witch hunt.  Such a turn from the days of "lock her up".  Such a change.  

     But...If you try to avoid addressing actual history (even as it unfolds before our eyes), there is NO MOTIVATION for one to cement the goalpost in place.  It is far easier to continue to play into the accountability lacking imaginations and fantasies of those that have NO DESIRE to "pull themselves up by the bootstraps".  It is more comfortable for them to point the finger and cry over the success of those who do not mirror them or their ancestors.
