The Denouncement Announcement: Too Little, Too Late

      After a slew of questions from the media...members of the GOP have FINALLY been compelled to speak up regarding the (infamous) dinner between Donald J. Trump, Kanye West, and Nick Fuentes.  Isn't it amazing that Trump has DECADES of racist and antisemitic rhetoric and actions (even throughout his "presidency") BUT this is what the media has wanted to be denounced via his fellow conservatives? 

    The entire "stand back and stand by" statement to the Proud Boys did NOT need to be addressed huh? The "shithole countries" comments did not need to be addressed? 

      Currently, there is an epic scramble within the conservative GOP where individuals are walking a tightrope of denouncing Nick Fuentes while NOT speaking AGAINST Trump.  😏  The latest tool for damage control is proclaiming that Trump (a secret service-protected former POTUS) did not [previously] know why Fuentes was. The man who KNOWS every person with a platform that bootlicks for him AND must have guests CLEARED did NOT know who he was?! 

     Let us also NOT forget that Fuentes took to social media to fangirl over his dinner with Trump.  How much Trump liked him.  How much they agreed upon (certain) topics.  Nicholas Fuentes DOES NOT censor himself or hide the beliefs that he has.  There is NO plausible way that racism, antisemitism, and misogyny didn't take center stage.  

     When there began to be backlash from the dinner (which it appears was NEVER to be spoken about publicly) surfaced, Trump took to Truth Social to try his hardest to be racist without being racist towards Ye.  Per usual, ol Donny boy is shifting the blame to someone else...this time it just happens to be a Black man that has forgotten that he is a Black man, 

     Trump's new shining star, Marjorie Taylor Greene even took to Twitter to denounce and fain ignorance when it comes to Fuentes.  The problem with that is...she spoke at the same event as he did.  She was also photographed (at said event) shaking his hand with a boisterous smile on her face.  Also, keep in mind that this is a woman that gleefully repeated a conspiracy theory that blamed "Jewish space lasers" for Californian wildfires.  

      The GOP is riddled with racist, antisemitic individuals.  This is why it took the media turning on their cameras and asking if Trump meeting with Trump was something that would ever be denounced.  NO member of the GOP was expeditious or unprovoked in their distancing from the ideologies and speech of Fuentes.  This is why the denouncement announcement is far too little far too late. Denouncement should have come when Trump first threw his hat into the conservative political arena.  The GOP should have been questioned when Trump made PROBLEMATIC statements as POTUS.

     The insincere announcements from (some) conservatives to date are nothing more than a placating smokescreen ahead of the next presidential battle.
