The Narrative Game

      Just when you thought conservatives and Christian Nationalists could not sink any lower.... they put a new level in hell.  The attorney for the Q Nightclub terrorist has decided that the best defense is claiming that the accused is nonbinary.  The LDS church-going, conservative conspiracy theory family belonging, noted anti-gay and racist shooter is now being sold to the judicial system as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community.  😏 The mems have already surfaced attempting to change the narrative as a measure of changing the narrative of the mass shooter syndrome within the US.

     They are vehemently clinging to the fact that the shooter previously changed his name... but ignoring that the GENDER remained MALE. 

     We, the general public, are expected to ignore the following:

• the mother looking for her SON on social media on the day of the massacre 
• a neighbor admitted to witnessing the shooter using slurs towards the LGBTQIA+ community that were also racially motivated (when angry)
• the father PUBLICLY admitting that he and the shooter have had anti-gay rhetoric and midset 
• the  relationship with the election-denying, conservative GOP Asssmeblyman (maternal) grandfather
• the membership to an adamantly anti-gay church with a pastor that preached violence toward the queer community
• recent right-wing media propaganda using a falsehood regarding drag queens
• the fact that the name changed from Nicholas Brink to Anderson Lee Aldrich (2016) just prior to turning 16 due to cyberbullying

      Now, is it possible to be a member of a community and inflict harm upon the said community? Yes.  Is it plausible to be closeted and act out due to your own personal suppression? Also...yes.  Given that the cyberbullying included undertones of homosexuality...it is possible that he was choosing to take an extreme route to prove his toxic masculinity to his family.  POSSIBLY.  It DOES NOT remove the fact that a HATE CRIME was committed (and seemingly premeditated).  

    I do wonder why the surname of Aldrich was chosen given the weight of the mother and grandfather's which is Voepel.😏

     Moving on.  One does NOT get to bring up a child in a climate of toxicity while (simultaneously) indoctrinating them with hate to simply twist reality to protect your rhetoric from birthing consequences.  White conservatives and Evangelicals are (once again) attempting to glorify the murderous tyranny that they cultivate within their young.  Society can NOT continue to be forced to coexist in a world with privileged, trigger-happy, excuse-riddled, protected mass shooters.  

     Therefore, we can NOT sit back and allow this (clear and present) narrative to be altered for the. shooter to evade prosecution AGAIN.
