Why Do You Donate to the Wealthy?

     

 Recently, fans of Kanye West decided to crowdfund him back into the realm of billionaires.  Yes....it is as stupid as it sounds.  A group of hundredaires and thousandaires feel so bad that ACCOUNTABILITY removed Ye from the billionaires list that they wanted to DONATE their money to him.  A man that is STILL RICH.  A man that STILL HAS WEALTH. 😏

     He has NOT lost his home.  He has not had his accounts seized.  He merely is feeling the financial reproductions of his problematic words and actions.  

    This fan base has joined the ranks of those that profess their unwavering allegiance and financial devotion to Donald Trump, Sr.  Billionaires (in reality and within the minds of their sycophants) no longer have to flip their fans upside down and shake the money from their pockets.  The fans flock to hand it over to them.  Their fans willingly decide to increase their personal struggles to ensure their fave remains in the lap of luxury.

     The SAME people that will joke about them being the needy when asked at check-out to donate $1 to those in need, WILLINGLY hand over their funds to "great businessmen".  Before you attempt to excuse this lunacy...this is NOT the same as purchasing products or services obsessively.  They are turning over money with NO expectation of any type of return on their "investment" or anything in exchange for funds.  

     There are parts of the population that can't be bothered to help a HOMELESS person, but they are always on the ready for ensuring that a CELEBRITY can acquire a private jet and a barrage of servants.  😏

     My question is...what must one tell themselves to DONATE TO THE WEALTHY?! That is like buying a dealership and giving away your best cars to people already driving luxury vehicles!!!! WHY?! 

     I know that some of you will use the excuse that people want to donate to Kanye because he is a Black man and that we need to ensure/protect his legacy.  ***HARD eye roll.*** Does Ye remember that he is a Black man? I know he seems to recall this when he NEEDS the Black community to rescue him from a hole that he dug for himself.  He kinda remembers when he needs to be rebuilt after being reminded that he is to serve the table and NOT sit at it.  

     Also, Ye is NOT the singular Black person that has amassed a fortune or gained a certain status within society.  Why aren't you doing a better job at supporting Lizzo? Why did you dark humor Chadwick beyond the grave? Why are you fighting so hard to replace Mr. Boseman and diminish his (imperative) legacy?  

     It makes ZERO sense for the average American to take the dismal wages paid to them and offer it unto the wealthy as if GoFundMe is the new collection plate for the church of celebrity.  No longer can this population continue to complain about the lack of liveable wages when their wages are going towards the private chef of someone that has 6 villas.  PLEASE make it make sense people!!!!!! You will pick apart a random stranger on the internet that asks for money to avoid eviction BUT come together to put a MILLIONAIRE back on a billionaire's list.

Kanye West Fans launch GoFundMe to make the rapper a billionaire again
