When Will the Military STOP Being Your Pawns?

      With the prisoner swap that resulted in the release of Brittney Griner from a Russian prison, we are ONCE AGAIN reminded that conservatives are too eager to utilize the US military as political pawns.  They ONLY speak about protecting and respecting them when combating members of the BIPOC community desiring equity or receiving basic human graces.  😏 Otherwise,  pseudo-patriots vote against anything that will benefit active duty members and veterans faster than Trump will lie and grift.  

     It is the WEIRDEST fandom I have ever witnessed in my existence.

     Conservatives will bootlick for the military performatively in public while in private... they work to make their lives as miserable as possible.  The US military is vaulted at marginalized communities as if they were human grenades.  Imagine being manipulated into an organization that reveres you as NOT human under the guise of being touted as a hero by society to end up being no more than a chess piece for profit-seeking politicians.  

     Imagine enduring psychological (and often physical) damage to simply be reduced to a poster child for prolific propaganda.  

     Before you begin to cape for conservatives and sycophants of the military...keep in mind that they NEVER recall the names of high-profile members in need of assistance until someone else gets aid and/or attention.  Conservatives sat SILENTLY as a WAR VET was mocked by their golden goose...Trump.  Conservatives are the same ones that will KNOW that they are the reason active-duty members NEED to apply for food stamps...BUT put NOTHING in place to PREVENT that.  😏 

     Why do conservatives feel justified in any of this?

     When will there be a time when ALL residents of this propagandized country are viewed and treated as HUMAN and valuable? When will this obsession with war, guns, and militarization end? When will we truly (and finally) recognize the harm that is done via LYING to people regarding service and preying on the poor to fill tanks and uniforms? When will veterans FINALLY cease being extra chess pieces for politicians that have no clue what the price of milk is?
