So Many Lies...No Forward Motion

      With every scroll through the internet...there is a buffet of utter LIES for all to peruse.  They range from racists (blatantly) lying about being attacked for being white 😏 to crazed COVID deniers using death and misfortune to lie about the ailment and its vaccines.  These lies are meant to persuade the rest of us to believe that racism and COVID are not real. 😏

    The funny thing is...ALL of the lies are [virtually] identical and extremely fantastical (at best).  

     EVERY White supremacist has a tale of being "jumped" by Black people for being White and "appearing" in Black spaces.  😏 There is NEVER [factual] cooperation nor is there a plausible explanation for why they were in the school/neighborhood/establishment that played the backdrop to such a crime.  MOST also proclaim that they were teased and/or disliked due to their lack of melanin. 😏 To try to spice up their toddler tales, some will sprinkle in "I went to a predominately Black school", but when asked to name the school...they go radio silent or name a historically (and predominately) White school. 

     Let us NOT forget the extreme of the racists...the ones that utilize digital blackface in order to lie regarding the existence of systemic racism and oppression.  Oh, how they enjoy saying, "as a Black man/woman...I" *insert racial trope here* as if anyone other than other racists believes them.  It is so very laughable that the ONLY people that are swayed by these people are their own kindred. 😁

     My question is... why the need to lie if racism is a thing of days long gone?

     When it comes to COVID the number of lies truly boggles the brain.  People have lied so much about the disease that they are beginning to believe the lies that they tell.  People have lied to the point that they have died or those around them have due to the falsehoods...and IT DOES NOT STOP THEM.  The WORST are those that have vaccinated themselves and their loved ones, yet they grift off of the ignorance and fear of others.  They sit back and watch as those that believe their lies become sick, lose employment and (at times) perish.  

     What does one truly gain by KILLING off or DELETING the INCOME of one's targets of the grift?

     Not one of the blatant lies tossed about is bringing about any forward motion for those that spew them.  It is as if the spread of tall tales is no more than a sick habit for those drenched in boredom.  Misleading people is not a fruitful or longstanding method of gaining a following.  This is especially so during this day and age where there are an array of individuals on the ready to dispel the lies and educate the masses (sans payment).  

     Even the grand grifter Trump is experiencing the consequences of lies only fooling people for a finite time period.
