It is NOT Our Responsibility to Fix What you Created

I will never understand the number of white supremacists that want to task [racially] marginalized individuals to fix what they created with their racial hierarchy.  When did this become the [proverbial] cross to bear for those that were deemed inferior? Why must we provide the (continual) labor for people that STILL cannot properly care for themselves?

Make up your mind...are we lazy or are we still property tasked with your labor?

In one breath racism is denied to still exist and in the next, we must look within our communities for a solution.  The vast majority of White people do not have a close relationship with a non-white person, yet they tout themselves as experts on the marginalized lived experience.  HOW MARTHA?! Tokenizing and fetishizing minorities does NOT give you our POV.  You do NOT gain a perspective as to what it means to be oppressed due to intercourse, financial standing, or enduring a childhood bully.

Proximity to a marginalized body does NOT make you marginalized!!!!!

Additionally, having a step-parent, friend, or relative that is a member of the BIPOC community DOES NOT make their culture, experience, or view your own.  Most of the time you ignore what they endure before your eyes.  You lack the self-awareness to realize that you (generally) side with your own community over them.  You must also face that far too many of you date/marry into minority families as a measure of fulfilling your fantasy of saviorhood and/or revenge-seeking upon overt racists from your own klan.

Moreover, if you want the conversations regarding disparities, race, etc to cease...fix your creation.
