One thing that has been certain over the ages is that white people will (consistently) revise history in order to proclaim themselves as the answer...the way...the savior. This is why there has been quite an uptick in the recruitment and the encouragement of melanated people (most often men) to create hate groups themselves in recent years. This is a tactic that will allow for their desires to be carried out while they pretend as if they have no involvement in it.
Additionally, history can be written in a manner that would leave non-white people appear to be the problem with the nation.
Before you begin to screech that I am reaching... how many times has someone proclaimed that since a
white supremacist wasn't white they couldn't be latched onto that movement? The
Proud Boys leader who was recently sentenced? The young man that
tried to breach the White House? A
mass shooter targeting FELOW minorities at a mall? It is imperative for hate groups to prevent you from admitting that white supremacy can be internalized. That
non-white people have ALWAYS been used to perpetuate the hate, just to [later] be thrown under the proverbial bus.
Have you missed the number of white people pretending to be Black, etc on the internet trying to recruit and sow discord?
Moreover, white people can accomplish nothing without the free labor of marginalized people. Yes... this includes the spreading of hate and the carrying out the heinous acts of reminding the populous of who is welcomed and who is not. 😏 Hence the fact that so many racists love claiming that the flag of traitors is "heritage not hate" while simultaneously stating that "many Black people fly the flag as well". 😏 They MUST input melanated people into the conversation to give it credence, because, on their own, they can't properly camouflage the hate.
Familiarity is one of the best recruitment tools available.
Racists loathe representation until they can utilize it in order to collect foot soldiers for their race war fantasies. It is their brand of representation that allows them to come in and save the day once chaos ensues. It allows for decreased opposition to segregation, race/gender/sexual orientation-based legislation, and more. This is what allows for excuses to take the spotlight as marginalized people are MURDERED for merely existing. This is why few are bothered by immigrants of a certain hue being bussed/flown, etc. out of certain areas due to aesthetics. 😏
Yet far too many of you allow them to convince you that only white people understand white supremacy. 😏
