The Lie Will Hurt You Too

      Many of us are well aware of the amount of lies being told by Trump and his cronies within the GOP.  What we aren't truly discussing is the fact that the lies will affect them as well as the rest of us.  Think that I am reaching? Have you forgotten about the lies that led to the overturning of Roe v Wade? Have you been ignoring the lies that are leading to [violent] protests and legislation against the Trans & Drag communities? 

Let me guess... you do NOT believe that you nor most people are NOT affected by what has been noted?

     Abortion is a medical procedure that has been shown to assist in the decrease of the maternal mortality rate.  Currently, there are individuals who thought that the bans would not impact them but are finding themselves facing lethal restrictions.  There are people bleeding out in parking lots before they can receive said medical procedure for non-viable pregnancies.  Those that ONLY equate gender-affirming care to the Trans community are now finding that their own care is now in jeopardy.  Those hormones you (or your child) may need for growth issues.. gender-affirming care.  The hormones that may be needed to reduce the effects of gynecomastia...gender-affirming care.  That breast augmentation that you saved up for..gender-affirming care.  That rhinoplasty you want to gift your child...gender-affirming care.  

     STOP allowing buzzwords to cease your ability to critical think and/or recall that terms have been around for generations and aren't attacks on your snowflakeness. 

     Most importantly, the lies regarding replacement theory and political witch hunts have your fellow citizens and residents being hunted (nearly) DAILY.  There is a gaggle of GOP politicians and talking heads that are perpetuating the most DANGEROUS lie of all... that Trump did nothing wrong regarding his latest indictment.  Trump retained and HID classified documents with highly sensitive intel regarding the country's weaknesses, military plans, and more.  As much as they and the "good ol patriot" following complain and (disrespectfully) give commentary regarding the War in Ukraine... do they want us to suffer the same fate? They know full well the security risk that the nation has been put under due to the immature, ego-filled actions of the former POTUS, yet they are willing to let the country burn to remain in "power".

Where are the good ol boys whose entire personality is proclaiming they'd protect the nation with their final breaths?

     My guess is they are the same place that the forced-birther/pro-life people are... at him waiting for others to clean up the milk that has been spilled as they argue that they were right.  The individualism that has been vehemently engrained into the US psyche causes people to not think about the effect and only what they perceive the cause to be.  This is because they NEVER think that the effect will find their doorstep because they aren't like "those people".  😏 Given that the ever-so-coveted racial hierarchy promotes separating oneself, warnings (generally provided by Black women) are ignored until it is far too late.  Others tend to revel in sitting back and following the status quo while silently hoping that others will invoke [necessary] change.
