Today Donald John Trump had to face a judge regarding
37 FEDERAL counts pertaining to his handling and hiding sensitive documents. Many think that due to SOME consequences being delivered to him, this proves that white privilege is nothing more than a fairytale. But, let us look at the facts regarding the existence of DJT.
Do NOT forget that he has built NOTHING. His GRANDMOTHER and father did. He CHANGED the name to The Trump Org. to HIDE that a WOMAN was responsible for the silver-plated spoon in his mouth.
Trump has had a life of mediocracy that he was allowed to PUBLICLY lie about and receive respect and more from the public. He has made racist, misogynistic, homophobic comments with little to no backlash. His rhetoric and actions have garnered him a cult following that IGNORES all of
his faults due to him being what the founding fathers dreamed of... white, male, straight, and faux moral. Trump is the embodiment of success for pale patriots that view themselves as broke billionaires longing for the good old days of Jim Crow, wife beating, and only white men in government.
Keep in mind that his voter base is prone to violence and enjoys cosplaying being morally superior to others. They are nothing more than hoodless Klan members.
The former POTUS has engaged in
hateful and illegal practices while having people tout him as their Messiah. All while there are BIPOC individuals being hunted around the nation and vilified for requiring JUSTICE. Trump used his presidency to insult other nations, grift taxpayers and line the pockets of his offspring... with no consequences (at the time). A man that has NEVER had a faithful marriage, operates as if he were a main character in "The Godfather", openly incites violence in his name, and lies more often than the average person blinks is a HERO to many people within the country.
He has the privilege of people AVOIDING reading any of the indictments carrying his name, as they dig DEEP for any indiscretions regarding VICTIMS of hate crimes.
Do NOT be fooled into thinking that white people are unaware of the privilege that they yield. They weaponize and exercise it with ease in the name [and honor] of DJT. They work fervently to protect his privilege. They ENJOY seeing themselves in him. They revel in him capitalizing off of his privilege with minimal intelligence, and skillsets and drenched in hatred for all that are sun children. He is the success story of the poorly educated legacy Klan kids that desire to reign supreme over a nation that reverts in time to when whiteness gained you ownership of patriotism by default.
