Yet AGAIN, the United States has shown that Black women hold no value for them unless we are dead or being
"saved" by a white person. Over the weekend, the nation came together to search for a missing Black woman. Once confirmed that
she was found, ALIVE, disdain replaced concern and urgency. Conspiracy theories and the demand for (immediate) details flooded what was once a communal space of distress [regarding her well-being].
The jubilance surrounding her being returned to her family was quickly quelled by placing Black women into the monolith of faux victimhood that has been [historically] occupied by the default damsel in distress...white women.
Even our own kinfolk are questioning her return and if her disappearance was no more than a hoax. People who, during the journey towards justice for George Floyd had become BAU-level internet sleuths suddenly had no clue why 9-1-1 recordings weren't released. They are now dumb to the need for medical attention and the checklist accompanying an investigation. 😏 With her return, instead of respecting the family's request for privacy, the masses want DETAILED information faster than they want tax refunds.
Quick question - Aren't these the same people that preach [daily] to give VICTIMS time and to NOT force them to relieve their trauma for the ENTERTAINMENT of others? 💅
When white women from coast to coast PRETEND to be the victims of crimes... they are NOT met with a barrage of inquisitions regarding their actions. 😏 When Black men are placed into positions where
white woman tears and [far too often] the police are WEOPONIZED against them... no one is interrogating the perpetrators of the failed
[modern day] LYNCHINGS. 😏
Yet a Black woman found ALIVE is too far-fetched for your indoctrinated, racist craniums to compute.
The ONLY time you can garner sympathy for a Black woman and place value into her life, is when she is DEAD (and NOT by the hands of modern-day slave catchers/the police) or being saved by a white person. If [on camera] there would've been a white person escorting her home and proclaiming that they found her...your bank of questions would be out of business. If found dead, you would've complained that the media did not give adequate attention to her plight and recognized the blaring disparities regarding the existence of Black women. BUT, because she is STILL among the LIVING....you are confused, riddled with idiotic conspiracy theories, and on the hunt for proof of a hoax.
What does she have to gain from a disappearance? What?
Save your desire to become the next Sherlock for the next time (and there will be one soon) a white woman announces her victimhood at the hands of the melanated that she followed, taunted and tormented. 😏
