White Lies: the Cover for Weaponization

   

     Just like clockwork, each time that a white person is called in or out for weaponizing their privilege, there is a barrage of lies to cloak them from accountability.  Before you become defensive and fight to convince yourself that I am reaching…I want you to CHOOSE to be honest with yourself about yourself for a moment.  Have you ever witnessed the blatant weaponization of privilege and had a knee jerk reaction to deny that it was occurring? Have you found yourself NOT correcting people who have embellished the situation in favor of the aggressor? Have you turned a “blind eye” to OBVIOUS lies concocted to project victimhood onto the [actual] perpetrator?

Not so much of reach is it? It is more of a presentation of actuality…correct?

     The disdain for marginalized communities when white lies take center stage is UNDENIABLE.  Attempting to overshadow the (illogical) untruths is confirmation of the  prevalent desire for straight, pseudo Christian, whiteness to reign over the land.  The mere fact that lies are far more acceptable and less likely to be scrutinized shows that their is no safety within colonized spaces.  

Feeling uncomfortable? Ready to try to rip apart this assessment? Why?

     Have you IGNORED the constant requests from white people for context EVERY TIME a non-white person is harassed or MURDERED on CAMERA? How do you surpass the countless Demands for police reports and medical records when non-white people speak about abuse or assault? Our truth is placed under microscopes that are calibrated to the societal comfort of colonizers that have predetermined our level of humanity.  Therefore, our trauma isn’t real to them, it is merely punishment for NOT adequately conforming for the sake of their comfort and [faux] standards.  Hence the cries of, “just comply” and “do it the right/legal way” when it comes to us…but SILENCE or unwavering support when the completion is deemed propriety for protection.  

Still under the impression that white people won’t lie to protect and uphold the systems and privilege that their ancestors left for them as the ultimate inheritance?

 
   White people tend to have the SAME story of being oppressed/attacked/segregated due to their fleshy casing.  😏 White people tend to see and hear things that NO one else does in any given RACIST/BIGOTED/PROBLEMATIC situation that they have created.  They seem to have a level of hearing that gathers slurs and attacks that not even recordings than capture.  😏 White people have non-white friends and family that are ALWAYS ecstatic about their horrid ideologies, while void of faces/names/existence (more often).  White people will proclaim superiority while SIMULTANEOUSLY declaring themselves previously enslaved and currently oppressed.  😏

     In conclusion….if you feel it doesn’t apply, why can’t you let it fly? If you realize that this is true…why have’s you addressed your skin-folk to remedy this?
