Reclaim Your Power

     

     Far too often, recently, people are proclaiming that there is nothing to do about current events.  People who previously claimed to be "the daughters of the witches that they didn't burn" and shouted about a second civil war.  These are people who are PROUD, card-carrying members of legacy organizations.  These are people who reenact wars and fight diligently to have gun collections.  

     YET, they are now hopeless and without options regarding their survival and ability to flourish. 😏

     Make it make sense, please.  What happened to "America: The land of the free and home of the brave"? Where did the bravery go? Aren't you the same collection of humans that are consistently talking about what you would've done at different snapshots of history? Aren't you the same people who wanted to reconstruct the underground railroad when Roe v. Wade was overturned? 

     Where did the fight go to retire?

     For DECADES, there have been chants of "over my dead body you will get my guns" and declarations that people would fight the government (like their ancestors did) should the federal government become tyrannical.  The CURRENT administration is showing themselves to be a clear and present danger to US citizens and residents, and you are rolling over.  The "we are Sparta" mindset has been swiftly replaced by "they will just get away with it anyway".

     What a way to confirm that you are NOT your ancestors and you have no problem with wasting their energy, effort, and shed blood.  

     Where would we be if those who came before us carried the mindset of defeat that is being embraced today? Why have you [so rapidly] abandoned your "we are conquerors" bravado? I thought the "American Way" was never backing down and fighting to preserve the "god given rights" of the land.  I guess the "American Way" is purely [good] marketing and no actual action.  

    The power is in the people.  This is why those in power work overtime to lie to you.

     You have to DECIDE to be the change that you require.  Change does NOT merely fall from the sky and implement itself.  Asking what others are doing is not a viable plan.  Sitting back and accepting tyranny is not a viable plan.  Hoping, paying, and wishing are NOT a viable plan.  ACTION must occur.  Utilize the vigor that you have for customer service when you are displeased to save your rights.  Stop living in the yesteryear of bravery, chatting about the American Revolution, the Boston Tea Party, the Civil War, and the Underground Railroad.  Pick yourself up and start "karening" your way into an actual meritocracy where all humans are valued and protected.
