      President Joe Biden has decided that Mamie Till-Mobley and Emmett Till should be honored with a monument . Given that there RECENTLY had to be an upgrade to the marker denoting where Emmett lost his life due to racists shooting at it (as a tradition) this is the most tone-deaf idea of the Biden residency in the White House.  If honoring the Till family was truly the goal why were they NOT honored with the ARREST and CONVICTION of Carolyn Bryant? The centerfold for the Karen Gazette was allowed to live a FREE life well into her twilight years.      A trio of monuments placed at locations that "tell the story of Emmett Till " is NOT equal to the justice that should have been the final chapter of his biography.  The 82nd anniversary of his birth should have been a time of celebrating a conviction for [at least] ONE of those responsible for him not walking into adulthood. An innocent CHILD has been condemned to a legacy riddled with injustice,...

      Yet AGAIN, the United States has shown that Black women hold no value for them unless we are dead or being "saved" by a white person .  Over the weekend, the nation came together to search for a missing Black woman.  Once confirmed that she was found , ALIVE, disdain replaced concern and urgency.  Conspiracy theories and the demand for (immediate) details flooded what was once a communal space of distress [regarding her well-being].   The jubilance surrounding her being returned to her family was quickly quelled by placing Black women into the monolith of faux victimhood that has been [historically] occupied by the default damsel in distress...white women.     Even our own kinfolk are questioning her return and if her disappearance was no more than a hoax.  People who, during the journey towards justice for George Floyd had become BAU-level internet sleuths suddenly had no clue why 9-1-1 recordings weren't released.  The...

      I have begun to notice that many racists (mostly those attempting to cosplay anti-racism) tend to allow their feelings to determine [their] definitions of words.  Yes, you read that correctly.  When you ask them to define their [new] collection of buzzwords, you are bombarded with their feelings as well as feeble attempts at blaming "current society's need for something to be upset about".  😏 Providing them actual definitions seems to cause a momentary gitch within their cranium....but, they firmly return to their safe space of feelings-driven vocabulary.      Today I came across a video from an extremely popular (and generally well-respected) content creator that proved that massive intellect does NOT always mean that one can read the room.  His tone-deaf take regarding the use of the phrase "unalive" on TikTok showed how removed cis white men are from the reality occurring around them.   In a time in history where at our fingertips we have a plethora of people sharing their LIVED experiences...his scientific mind could not utilize available data properly.      What do I mean? he did NOT bother to take note of the fact that non-white people are FORCED to [creatively] censor ourselves in order to avoid community guidelines violations (and potentially the loss of our platforms).  Additionally, he did NOT take attribute data surrounding the willingness of social media platforms to protect larger accounts that garner them a heftier profit stream.
