      Over the past few weeks, we have ALL been exposed to the outright lies and crimes associated with George Santos AKA Anthony DeVolder.   Many have been left in shock as to how he was able to lie, scam, and deceive his way into CONGRESS.  I do NOT know why.  We have witnessed the GOP take to social media, news outlets, and campaign trailsand lie as much as an average human breaths.           Have you FORGOTTEN that we had a US PRESIDENT that did nothing but lie and grift?      Trump was (and in some circles still) protected as they KNEW he was lying AND putting lives (and the country) at risk.  Top members of the GOP lied along with him as a method of remaining in power and helping their underlings gain power.  With that being said, why is anyone shocked that Santos/DeVolder has been outted for being a habitual liar and consummate grifter and is permitted to evade accountability.    ...

      I know that it has been widely agreed that the US is a patriarchy and so are all of the subcultures contained within its borders.  My question is...does this truly apply to the Black community?  Before you start arguing with me or proclaiming that I am reaching...realize I am questioning, NOT being definitive.  Now please hear me out.        If our community truly bought into the concept of the patriarchy...why is so much contingent upon Black women?      Black women are called upon to lead, nurture, provide for, and more for our families.  Black men are consistently leaning on us to be their therapists, caretakers, and more.  Black men take great pride in bragging about their grandmothers and mothers sacrificing and carrying entire families on their backs.  How often are we told about Black men doing this? Grandfathers and fathers are noted as providing financially (at times) but not as being the...

      Now that we have settled in a bit into 2023...let us FINALLY unpack the white supremacist talking point that Black people achieving success (in certain realms) is due to membership within the Illuminati .  It erases the hard work, talent, and intellect that Black people put into their craft(s) in order to achieve any level of success within systems built to keep us on the outskirts.  Also, why would the ancestry that created a racial hierarchy and racism give what they covet away to [certain] Black people?      Do you NOT realize that YOU are claiming that success can ONLY be achieved by Black people via supernatural or unethical means?      Why is this so easy for you to grasp AND hold onto? The theories of what Black people are sacrificing for success are incredibly mindboggling.  It is NOT melanated persons that are climbing any ladders while being mediocre!!!! But guess who is.....why are you not swarming their legaci...

       Girls are (often) raised to grow up to be no more than a wife and a mother.  Many of us are force-fed the mantra of becoming a mother "the right way" being that we must marry BEFORE we bring forth another life.  What is NOT emphasized is boys being raised into men that will co-parent with their WIVES.  Too many little boys grow up with mothers that handle all things child-related and form the idea that this is how a relationship is supposed to work.  That as long as he provides financially (regardless of the employment status of the spouse) he is a great father.         These men PRAISE the sacrifices of their mothers as their fathers sat on the sidelines as if they were parental spectators.      This begets current marriages where the only difference between a "Mrs." mother and an unwed mother is a piece of paper.  Too many MARRIED women are also single mothers within their union "under God"....

      In my few decades of life, I have noticed a shocking number of women whose entire identity is no more than being a wife and/or mother.  There is nothing in their existence that centers them...their needs...their wants...their goals...just caring for those that they believe are (predominately) reliant on them.  Where is the satisfaction in that?      Oh yea...the ability to convince oneself that they are better than them because they can sign with an M-R-S. 😏      Being able to brag about a title and NOT the quality of the relationship or YOUR existence is NOT a flex.  It is quite sad.  Not everyone wants to be relegated to being a maid, caretaker, therapist,  and incubator to someone who (generally) weaponizes incompetence to avoid any help within the household? Far too many marriages where the wife's pride is contained within the title lack MUTUAL respect, emotional maturity, trust, and/or fidelity.  ...

      Recently a White woman took to the internet to make a joke about code-switching when approached by a police officer.  Funny...right? NO. She showed that her blaccent and persona are nothing more than the cosplaying of Black women for clicks, likes, views, and clout.  Code-switching is what Black people have been FORCED to do in order to fit into a society centering on whiteness.         White women/people returning to their native personality traits is NOT code-switching.      What makes the video and the sentiment even more egregious is that she stated that, "you bet I talk white when..." You talk what now? You talk who now? Interesting trope to use.  Interesting phrasing for a subset of people who (consistently) proclaim that their minstrel-based shenanigans are just who they are.  They just grew up surrounded by Black people or a part of a black family and developed a cookie-cutter accent, attitude, fash...

      With every scroll through the internet...there is a buffet of utter LIES for all to peruse.  They range from racists (blatantly) lying about being attacked for being white 😏 to crazed COVID deniers using death and misfortune to lie about the ailment and its vaccines.  These lies are meant to persuade the rest of us to believe that racism and COVID are not real. 😏     The funny thing is...ALL of the lies are [virtually] identical and extremely fantastical (at best).        EVERY White supremacist has a tale of being "jumped" by Black people for being White and "appearing" in Black spaces.  😏 There is NEVER [factual] cooperation nor is there a plausible explanation for why they were in the school/neighborhood/establishment that played the backdrop to such a crime.  MOST also proclaim that they were teased and/or disliked due to their lack of melanin. 😏 To try to spice up their toddler tales, some will sprinkle...

      To the descendants of those that created the concept and hierarchy of race...STOP saying, " not all white people ", when non-white people are talking about our lived experiences.  YOU ARE APART OF THE PROBLEM, therefore, YES it is ALL White people.  Othering yourself from the conversation that NEEDS to occur is far from helpful.  Attempting to absolve yourself from finding solutions and calling in your kindred will NOT fix the problem that your ancestors created and their descendants uphold.        Combating oppression is NOT th time to center yourself as a performative, conditional ally.      Instead of offering such a knee-jerk retort, maybe...just maybe...you should SHOW that you are NOT amounsgt the problematic of your genetic disposition. 😏 If you are actively working to unlearn the racism that was indroctrinated into you...SHOW THAT.  Call in your kinfolk.  STOP breaking bread with those that in...
